Physical Therapy

Our approach at Hydrathletics offers focused, tailored treatment with an attention to detail. We care about our patients and their recovery, so we take the time required to provide excellent care. Our clinics hire highly skilled, trained professionals and offer physiotherapy and/or athletic therapy.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. This can involve physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and exercise to treat diseases, injuries, or deformities. As students of the science of movement, physiotherapists are trained to pinpoint the root cause of an injury or condition. Some of the treatment modalities employed by our registered physiotherapists include manipulation of joints and muscles, ultrasound, heat treatment, electrical stimulation, acupuncture and exercise as alternatives to, or in conjunction with, other medical intervention.

Athletic Therapy

Athletic therapy specializes in the prevention, assessment, and care of disorders affecting muscles, bones, and joints especially as they relate to athletics and the pursuit of physical activity. While treatment techniques between physiotherapy and athletic therapy often overlap, the focus of athletic therapy is physical activity. Our athletic therapists are trained and certified to provide effective and experienced care to our clients. In conjunction with manual therapy modalities, some of the treatment methods employed by our athletic therapists include manual manipulation, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, acupuncture, and traction.

Whether you’re looking to recover from an injury, manage a chronic condition, or gain an athletic edge, we’re committed to creating a program that works for you.

Why Aquatic Therapy?

Our aquatic therapy services provide an environment for controlled rehabilitation that occurs entirely under water. This means that patients enjoy the same results as land-based training in a low-impact setting that’s easy on the body.
