Who are we?

Hydrathletics is an aquatic therapy service provider located in Canada -- the first company to provide public use of HydroWorx® pools in Canada.

Our facility is geared towards rehabilitation, conditioning, sport performance and general fitness. Specialized rehabilitation programs are offered for pre and post-surgical patients, people with athletic injuries, arthritis, chronic pain, back injuries, motor vehicle accidents, orthopaedic injuries and more. Aquatic therapy allows clients who are not yet ready for land-based rehabilitation, due to injury or surgery, to begin therapy much earlier through the ability to completely unload their body weight. Our pools can also be used for therapeutic purposes.

Hydrathletics strives to provide the best services to our clients, which is why we also offer physiotherapy, athletic therapy, and massage therapy. Clients can benefit from our multi-discipline approach, ensuring you receive the best care and results possible.

Our Team

Our highly qualified team of trainers and therapists ensure every one of our clients meet their individual goals.

Testimonials

  • "I was looking for a custom tailored workout that was fun and would push me to my limits without causing aggravation to a previously sustained ankle injury, that is exactly what I found at Hydrathletics. The Hydrathletics team are fun and motivating!"

    Jess, Current Client
  • I've been fortunate to be able to use the Hydroworx treadmill at Hydrathletics in Kingston during recovery from a recent injury. The Hydroworx has allowed me to return to running much sooner than I otherwise would be able to. Being able to continue to run even in the early stages of injury recovery is a huge benefit to maintaining my fitness level and returning to full health. It is the best form of cross-training I've tried during injury rehab because it allows me to mimic my actual running form very closely. I also believe the Hydroworx treadmill would be a great tool to supplement on-land running even when fully healthy and training normally, by being able to unload some of the pressure and stress on the joints while still getting a fantastic cardio workout. Joe and his staff at Hydrathletics are very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the Hydrowrox treadmill and its many

  • "After suffering two broken ribs and an intercostal muscle tear I found day to day activities painful. Intent on maintaining my workout routine I met with Hydrathletics. They designed a programme which allowed me to continue working out twice a week. To my shock, I was able to run on the underwater treadmill with no upper body discomfort. I highly recommend it!"
